Plan for the Week | 19 – 25 JULY

The weather forecast shows another week of high heat and periods of T-storms. Efforts this week will focus on plant care, mitigating harmful insects, and harvesting produce that’s ready to be picked. Despite the challenging weather, the garden yielded over 250 pounds of produce over the past two weeks that was donated to the Lake Norman Food Mission!
Garden activities for volunteers will be in the morning only. Once temperatures exceed 90 degrees, the garden will be closed to avoid heat-related problems. Volunteers must bring water or other drinks to stay hydrated. Thank you for your support!
