Weather may be a factor – please check the forecast before coming to the garden.

Tasks for the day:

• Check plants for growth and health.
• Treat for pests and/or any diseases noted. Treatments must be applied before temperatures exceed 80 degrees.
• Water perennial flower beds, as needed.

Caution – bees are very active this time of year, particularly in basil, cucumber, and pole bean plants. The bees are not aggressive and are focused on doing their jobs.  However, If you have allergies to bee stings, please use all precautions by bringing an EpiPen if prescribed by your physician.
