The weather forecast shows another typical week of summer weather—high heat and humidity. Efforts this week will focus on plant care, removing diseased plants from the garden, mitigating harmful insects, and harvesting produce that’s ready to be picked.
Garden activities for volunteers will be in the morning only. Once temperatures exceed 90 degrees, the garden will be closed to avoid heat-related problems. Volunteers must bring water or other drinks to stay hydrated. Thank you for your support!
Extension Master Gardeners will be managing the garden 30 July – 5 August.
