Plan for the Week | 14 – 20 JUNE

The weather forecast shows several days with temperatures in the 90s so we’ll be monitoring beds and plants for adequate watering.  Beds along the west fence were recently planted with sweet potato slips that will need daily hand watering.  Pole beans and cucumbers are continuing to get tall enough to train them to the supports in the garden beds.  Wednesday morning will continue to be a harvest day so produce can be weighed, washed, and turned over to the Lake Norman Food Mission in the afternoon.

Saturday, 13 June was our monthly workday with Extension Master Gardeners.  Thank you to all that came out and for the work you did.  The garden common areas are looking great!
