Garden Maintenance | Workday

Open to all volunteers and Extension Master Gardeners. Our goal is to continue mitigating pop-up weeds in garden common space areas, ensure garden beds are weed-free, trim and mulch perennial plants outside of the fence, and remove refuse from the tool shed area.  New gardeners will be shown how to manage plants actively growing (garlic, potatoes).

Please dress accordingly for the weather.  Tasks will involve kneeling, bending, stretching, and light lifting.  Bring along a kneeling pad or bench/kneeler as needed along with gloves and any personal tools you prefer.  Just to note, the tool shed has common garden tools that volunteers are welcome to use.  Please also remember to bring drinks to stay hydrated.

If rain is forecast, the workday will be canceled the evening before and the calendar will be updated to show the cancelation.
